Coach Watson
(Head Coach)
With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Watson brings a deep passion for player development and a commitment to building strong, respectful athletes both on and off the field. As a proud girl dad of 3 daughters, he understands the importance of creating a positive, supportive environment where girls can grow in confidence, character, and skill.
Emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork and a “team-first” mentality. His coaching philosophy centers on hard work, mutual respect, and personal growth – developing not just great softball players, but great teammates and leaders.
Coach So
Coach Sophia Gonzalez, also known as Coach So, brings over 7 years of coaching experience in Little League, high school, and travel softball to the Cali Crushers team. She’s passionate about developing players’ skills and character through the game of softball.
Coach So started playing at 5 years old and continued through college-level softball and adult leagues. She was fortunate to play travel ball thanks to a sponsorship – an opportunity that inspired her to give back by sharing her life lessons and love for the game with young athletes.
Her expertise is infield, with a strong focus on third base and catcher. Coach So is excited to work with players of all levels and help them grow on and off the field through hard work, heart, and hustle.
Coach To’i
Known as Coach T. |First Base Coach
Coach T is a steady, positive force on the Cali Crushers coaching staff. With 2.5 years of experience and a deep passion for youth development, he brings calm, focus, and strong communication to every practice and game. As a proud father of two girls, Coach T is driven by a desire to help your athletes build confidence, discipline, and a love for the game.
Coach Gino
When Coach Gino first stepped into the role, it wasn’t about strategy or stats—it was simply about making sure his daughter had fun playing the game. What started as a supportive gesture quickly turned into a passion. Over the seasons, Coach Gino grew to love every part of the game – the thrill of the wins, the lessons in the losses, and most of all, the joy of creating unforgettable memories with the team. The greatest reward is watching the incredible young athletes grow, not just as players, but as individuals. For Coach Gino, this team has become more than just softball – it’s a family built on laughter, friendship, and shared love for the game.
Coach Don
Coach Don developed a strong foundation in pitching by closely studying the techniques and training methods used during his daughter’s lessons. Over time, he transformed that knowledge into effective coaching strategies, helping young pitchers improve their mechanics, pitch variety, and overall confidence on the mound.
With a focus on fundamentals, mental strength, and smart pitch execution, Coach Don brings a steady, supportive presence to the bullpen. His goal is to help every pitcher grow not just in skill, but in their love for the game.
